20 best cafes for specialty coffee in bratislava
about the book.
The year is 2024, and believe it or not, specialty coffee is no longer just the privilege of the capital city. This guide, mapping thirty cafés, is proof that this phenomenon—seen by some as a hipster trend—has spread beyond the main urban centers of our country. Even in Trebišov, people have developed a taste for acidic coffee. The guide Slovenský filter offers tips on where in Slovakia it’s worth traveling for specialty coffee. The selection criteria were a passionate approach to specialty coffee, quality of service, and interior design.
The book is created by Adrián Juráček, a graphic designer and lover of good coffee. It is divided into three chapters - Western, Central, and Eastern Slovakia. Adrián did not include any cafés from Bratislava, as the best of the capital was already documented in his previous publication Bratislavská kaviareň. So, you won’t find our café in this book, but you will find several establishments that serve coffee from our roastery.
The publication is written bilingually—in both Slovak and English.
